We serve the most authentic, Louisiana seafood prepared by chefs who have been at Drusilla’s for over 30 years. The menu reads like a Cajun maw-maws recipe book, passed down for generations. Fresh oysters, shrimp, crawfish, crab and fish are prepared fried, broiled, blackened or char-grilled and of course, raw oysters. You can select from rich, spicy etouffees, gumbos, au gratins, salads, pastas, po-boys or prime-aged steaks. Drusilla’s eggplant casserole is acclaimed by “Bon Appetit Magazine” and the “Baton Rouge Advocate”.


Drusilla Seafood Restaurant is one of the first, Baton Rouge seafood restaurants, established in 1982. The owners pride themselves in being involved in every aspect of the company’s operation, from checking the daily arrival of fresh, authentic, Louisiana seafood to the final stages of food preparation and service. It’s what our customers have come to expect along with attentive, personal service and a friendly, family atmosphere. Private Rooms & Catering

At Drusilla Place, our reputation for impeccable service and authentic, Louisiana cuisine is earned with a dedication to excellence. The restaurant offers 6 private dining rooms and accomodates 6 to 600 people for weddings, parties, rehearsal dinners, business meetings and private luncheons or dinners. We are also approved caterers at Shaw Center, LSU, Old Governor’s Mansion, New Governor’s Mansion and the Old State Capitol.
